Date Night

After being introduced to Eric Hutchinson on a Pandora station a few months ago, he quickly became one of my new favorites. I created a new Pandora station for him and have enjoyed listening to his music while at work and in the car. One day my boss was talking about him and I was surprised that she even knew who he was. It turned out that she was a big fan and he was coming in concert to Phoenix. I had to buy tickets. Devin has been a little reluctant on my music choices ever since I took him to a Jimmy Eat World concert and he fell asleep watching it.
Devin and I made a date night out of our evening. We ate pizza at Cibos and then went to the concert at the Crescent Ballroom. The concert was amazing and I loved every second of it! Eric Hutchinson is such a talented singer and songwriter. Devin even enjoyed himself so hopefully I've redeemed myself and my musical taste.
Zander loves stickers. For me, it's a perfect and cheap way to keep him occupied at church and in the car. The stickers seem to find their way to his face most of the time. I had to laugh one day when I looked back from the front seat to see him like this.

Twinkle Toes

Last week, Zander and I were able to go to Mason's dance recital. Yes - Mason, my 15 year old nephew is in dance at school. We tease him for it, but it's an incredibly smart ploy to hang out with some cute girls. He did a great job in the numbers he was in and I'm glad we were there to cheer him on in the front row.

Since Kylie is horrible about updating her blog and I know that my family reads mine, I thought I would post these pictures from Clayton's last baseball game of the season.

All in the name of free food

We stopped by Joe's Real BBQ for dinner since it was customer appreciation day. Free pulled pork sandwiches, slaw, baked beans, and a soda. Even though the line wrapped around the block, I couldn't pass up the chance to skip out on cooking dinner and enjoy a free meal with family. Thanks Joe!
