When we went to Arkansas in May for Grandpa's last trip to his beloved hometown of Aleene, we didn't think that we'd be back four short months later for his funeral and burial. We all witnessed the hospitality and love that this small town has for Ish and the Reed family. They made sure the Community Center was mowed and weeded before everyone arrived. They showed up early with us to clean and set up for the funeral. They even set up a family luncheon for after the services. It is easy to see why Grandpa was so proud of where he was from.
