It's been 5 months since Grandpa Reed passed away. Sometimes it feels like he'll still come through the front door and join us for family dinner on Sunday. I love reminiscing about all the funny things he'd say and do.
Today is his birthday and we couldn't let it pass by without celebrating. We ate at his favorite restaurant, Golden Coral, and ended the night at the Hospice Center where we spent the last week of his life together. We lit two lanterns, one for Grandpa and one for Grandma Reed, and sent them into the sky. I hope we can continue to keep their presence alive so Zander knows about his great grandparents.
