A few months ago, Devin's mom asked the whole family to go on a family vacation to Grandpa Reed's home town of Alleene, Arkansas. Each Memorial Day weekend, his small home town has a reunion. On the years he's been able to attend, he visits the Alleene Cemetery to put flowers on his family's grave sites. With this probably being the last time that Grandpa would return to Arkansas, we definitely didn't want to miss the opportunity to go with him. An added bonus to the trip would be a short stay in Branson Missouri since Jason and Lauren moved there earlier this year.
The flight to Branson was quick. It was Zander's first time on an airplane and he did great! We kept him occupied with the IPad and snacks. We also found out that he'd make a great flight attendant. He said hello to everyone as he made his way up the aisle to the bathroom. He also stood at the front of the plane and gave out hi-fives as everyone deboarded the plane. Sometimes I wonder where this kid came from. I think it's a cross between Grandma Judi and Mimi, with a little bit of Devin mixed in.
